August 24th is Ukraine’s Independence Day. It also happens to be the date that marks 6 months since Russia began its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine; the Homeland of Delfast. Like any startup with Ukrainian roots, our team has gone through a lot in the last 182 days: evacuations from dangerous places, living in bomb shelters, leaving home and becoming refugees, experiencing separations from family and friends, and being absolutely exhausted by the trauma of it all.

On Thursday, February the 24th, Russia invaded Ukraine at 5 AM ‒ everyone in our Ukrainian team woke up from horrific explosions. There are no words to fully describe our emotions ‒ Ukraine is a peaceful country in the middle of Europe that hasn't seen devastation like this since WWII.

A typical sedan for city rides will cost you around $30000 and thousands more for gas and maintenance. TOP 3.0 costs 5 times less. The maintenance is easy and affordable, and you will spend no more than $30 a year for charging your eBike.

Why did electric bicycles become so popular in the USA? A general answer is because they cater to all types of people. Cycling has been long a preferred commuting method for many people in the United States. It is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and good for one’s health. Thus, the electric bike comes as an enhancement for commuting.

A common misconception is that getting pedal assistance takes away the effort and fun of cycling. Thus, many of these cyclists don’t have a positive initial opinion of electric bicycles. Until they ride one. Then, they usually change their minds.

These early e-bikes had limited range and heavy batteries and mainly worked on the pedal assist mode in which the rider turned the pedals as on a normal bicycle with the motor giving some extra input to make pedaling easier, this was all well and good until the battery ran out of charge at which point the rider was left with a heavy bicycle and very tired legs.
